I graduated from Muscle Shoals High School in 2022. I then decided to go to Calhoun Community College to pursue finance. I played on the golf team there, and played both years I attended. The summer after I graduated, I decided I did not want to do finance anymore. I didn't know what I wanted to do, so I job shadowed some people. One of my family members showed me software development and I decided I wanted to try it. After being in software development for a semester, I decided Cybersecurity was a better fit.
During the summer, I completed my certification for CompTIA Security+. I studied for the exam through a 16 hour youtube course. I then purchased many online flashcard sets that was around 800 practice questions worth of exam questions. I took it after around two weeks of studying everyday and passed.
